Chen Xianda, Secretary General, China Mining Association

Chen Xianda has been long engaged in mine prospecting and practice of mining laws and regulations. He has been in charge of prospecting medium-sized multi-metal ore mine for five years, independently responsible for non-metal and building stone deposit prospecting technology; and he also compiled and submitted five reserve prospecting reports as chief author. He has experience in mining rights administrative management work, and participated in the amendment of 1996 version Mineral Resource Law, and he is also one of the chief drafters of the Measures for the Area Registration Administration of Mineral Resources Exploration and Survey. In 2000, he took the charge to finish the first exploration right bid invitation of the Ministry of Land and Resources. In 2005, he presided over petrol and natural gas mining rights work. In 2011 he took the charge to complete the first bid invitation for petrol and gas exploration rights of the Ministry of Land and Resources.
