Sophie H. Chung, Senior Copper Analyst, Wood Mackenzie
Sophie Chung is a senior copper analyst at Wood Mackenzie (formerly Brook Hunt), based in London, UK. Her focus is on fundamental cost analysis of the copper mine industry, linking financial evaluations of mines and projects to long term price forecast. Over her career she has conducted site visits for research and consulting in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Ms Chung currently heads up the project database, with emphasis on systemic risking of technical, social and political issues. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, she was a metals & mining equity analyst in Toronto, Canada.
