Amy Cheng is managing director and the head of metals & mining team at Bank of China International. She has lead and participated in numerous IPO, private placement and M&As.
Before joining Bank of China International, Ms Cheng was responsible for the investment department of a large electricity organisation, Xiexin Electricity, as department manager. She also has relevant experience in a big trust company, fund company and security company.
In 2009, Amy was invited by Harvard Kennedy School to conduct research on subjects including Chinese corporations’ overseas investment strategies and using financial methods to stimulate the new energy industry.
