Australia’s leading magnetite producer and iron ore pellets exporter from its large mining operation in Tasmania producing 2.3mtpa of product. Major customer and cornerstone investor is Shagang, China’s largest private steel mill. In addition, Grange also has a 70% stake in the Southdown magnetite project near Albany in Western Australia, which has the potential to produce 10mtpa of product for over 20 years.
