15:35 Valuing Junior Miners in periods of extreme opacity in commodity markets

• With the collapse in commodity prices in h2 2008, the dramatic retracement in the FTSE 100 Mining Sector valuations, and the credit crunch affecting debt finance and M&A activity, whole swathes of Juniors have seen their share prices experience the “90%” wipe-out similar to the “dot-com bubble burst”. The process of Valuing Junior Miners was a complex cocktail even in a period where the industry believed it had relative visibility of demand growth. Under current circumstances, it has become even more complex. This presentation will explore the current issues of valuing Junior Miners.
