Jamie Strauss

Jamie Strauss has worked as a stockbroker in London for 25 years, specialising in corporate resources. Having left BMO Capital Markets as UK managing director in 2009, he is now a director of mining finance boutique firm Strauss Partners. He has raised over US$1 billion in recent years for projects spanning the globe in both the energy and mineral fields on behalf of leading institutions in North America, Australia and Europe. Mr Strauss has been a committee member of the Association of Mining Analysts for the last four years, and is a non-executive director of Altius Minerals Ltd, Wildhorse Energy Ltd and Extorre Gold Mines Ltd.
