Lee Spencer

Lee Spencer has been chief executive officer and managing director of Kula Gold since July 2007. He is a geologist with over 30 years’ experience in mining, and expertise in operating mines, project development and exploration, having worked in Southeast Asia and Papua New Guinea since 1976. Mr Spencer has been associated with the Woodlark Island gold project for over ten years. He has held numerous senior executive positions in mining, including CEO of BDI Mining Corp Ltd and vice-president of exploration at Indomin Resources Ltd. Mr Spencer has been credited with several project discoveries and developments, including the Cempaka diamond mine in Indonesia.
