Plains Creek Phosphate is a Canadian mining and exploration company that is focused on advancing the Farim Phosphate Project located in Guinea-Bissau in West Africa. The Plains Creek Farim Phosphate Project is a high quality world class development phosphate project containing measured resource of 69 million tonnes at 29.9% P2O5, indicated resource of 15 million tonnes at 30.1% P2O5 and additional inferred resources of 44 million tonnes at 29.8% P2O5 and a 25 year mining plan of 68 million tonnes at 29.9% P2O5. A production license granted with feasibility study to be completed by Q2 2012 and production goal for the second half of 2013 at 2 million tonnes per annum 32.5% P2O5 phosphate rock and estimated operating cost US$60 per tonne FOB and total capital costs of US$300 million.
