Zhi Zheng

Mr Zheng is the chairman of China Mining United Fund. He is responsible for the strategic planning and the long-term development of the company. Mr Zheng graduated from Jilin University majoring in corporate management in 1987, and completed his graduate studies from Tsinghua University in the class of mining finance. Mr Zheng is also acting board director for the Zhengda Group, which controls about 10 billion in assets. His expertise with finance, investments, real estate, mineral and energy sectors was accumulated through years of investment practices and corporate management. His experience of the mining companies, and merger and acquisitions have equipped him for many business ventures, such as the investment and development of the Zhuozishan molybdenum mine in Inner Mongolia, which returned 20 times the original investment.
