Mines and Money London once again proved to be the mining investment event in Europe as a record number of delegates – 3798 investors, financiers and miners – crowded into the Business Design Centre to listen to some lively debate by key speakers within the conference programme, and visit the 210 exhibition stands on show.

A staggering 100 re-bookings for the 2012 show by exhibitors and sponsors at the event speaks for itself; the value of being involved in the two day show is such that next year’s show is expected to be a sell-out very soon.

What was new for 2011…?

New for 2011 was the introduction of a very successful fourth day, hosted in the Business Design Centre. Canada Day took place on the 4^th December and enjoyed participation by 150+ investors and financiers. Canada Day accompanied the already established Australia Day in the lead up to Mines and Money and featured a line up of over fifteen junior exploration companies, all representing exciting investment opportunities.

2011 featured:

• a conference featuring the top speakers in the industry tackling the topics at the top of the business agenda

• a range of short, 10-minute presentations by junior exploration companies presenting their projects

• an exhibition showcasing a wide spectrum of companies across the mining and finance sectors

• Great networking opportunities with networking drinks hosted every night plus the Mining Journal Outstanding Achievement Awards dinner on December 7
