Avalon Minerals Ltd – Jeremy Read, Managing Director Stand Number: F 11

Jeremy Read brings over 25 years’ international minerals exploration and project development experience to Avalon Minerals, having worked in a wide variety of technical and management roles and on projects throughout Australia, Africa and India. He has extensive exploration experience for copper, nickel and lead-zinc sulphides. Mr Read was the founding managing director of two successful Australian Stock Exchange listed companies: Discovery Metals, where he developed the company from a greenfields junior mineral exploration company to securing the Boseto copper project (now a near-term producer); and base metal pre-production project development company, Meridian Minerals. He is also formerly a manager of the Australian exploration team for BHP-Billiton. He remains as a non-executive director of Discovery Metals. He has a BSc (geology) and honours in geophysics.
