Investor Spotlight Speakers
Mines and Money Investor Spotlight sessions are 10-minute presentations from global junior exploration companies presenting their current and planned projects, allowing delegates to hear about potential investment opportunities directly from company representatives.
Afferro Mining Inc – Luis da Silva, CEO
Afferro Mining Inc is an established TSX-V and AIM listed company, which is focussed on the development of its two key West African iron ore projects in Cameroon and Liberia. Nkout in Cameroon currently has a resource of 1.42Bt at 33.6% iron with 50% at indicated status; management is targeting a resource of 4Bt by the end of 2012. Putu in Liberia has a resource of 3.24Bt at 34.3% iron with 58% at Indicated status. In fast-tracking these two assets, the company is focussed on defining an increased, minable direct shipping ore resource and progressing negotiations with potential strategic partners for infrastructure solutions.
